Balderson Cheese

Balderson Cheese began in 1881 by local dairy farmers of Lanark County, near Perth, Ontario. They created a Chedder cheese factory at a crossroads that came to be known, Balderson Corners. The company is named after John Balderson,

a retired sergeant from the British army who was among the first

homesteaders in the area in the 1860s.
